Current Projects

With thanks to generous funding from a number of providers, we are able to run projects that can offer free support to individuals who are in need. If you would like to apply for a place on any of our current projects, please check below for a link to the referral form. Please note this does not guarantee a space on the project as spaces are limited and individuals must meet the criteria given.

Past Projects

Strong Minds

The Mayor of London’s Office has provided funding to offer counselling to children and young people in Redbridge, and Barking and Dagenham aged between 10 and 21 years. This project supports those who are suffering from behavioural or psychological issues who are at risk of exclusion, and those involved in, or at risk of becoming involved in criminal activity. Where necessary, we would be able to bring the young person together with their parents/guardians for family counselling. If you know someone that would benefit from this support, please complete the referral form and return it to us via email.

COVID Relief

With thanks to the London Community Response Fund, we have free counselling sessions available for children and young people who are suffering with mental health issues as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you know a child that would benefit from this support, please complete the referral form and return it to us via email.

Young Londoners #ChangeThroughChoice

The Mayor of London’s Office has provided funding to support children and young people aged between 10 and 21 years, and who are suffering from mental health issues, those at risk of exclusion and those involved in, or at risk of becoming involved in criminal activity. If you think you would benefit from this support, please complete the referral form and return it to us via email.

Parents and Supporting Hands

This is a fortnightly group for parents and carers of young people who suffer from mental health or behavioural problems. The parent-led meetings allows the group to learn from each other and professionals how best to support their children. Those who have attended found it valuable to share experiences and look at things differently. Please keep checking back on our website and social media in the coming months, as we will be starting to run these groups once again.

Sounding Board

Children in Need helped us to support children, young people, and their families affected by substance abuse in the family. This consisted of both one-to-one counselling for the young person and family counselling for the young person and their immediate family.
